Regarding the Mega Trainer (Patch #4 11.24.2009), Unlimited Health, Ammo, Grenades, N....

Hi Guys

just logged onto steam, and it has updated CODMWF2, firewall asked permission to run program, using latest trainer update 4, game crashed out when options selected from numpad menu. anyone else had this yet??

confirmed! They have updated this game AGAIN! Of course I am glad they have done so, since this is quite possibly THE buggiest game I have ever played.

I tried running the latest version with the update 4 trainer and it indeed crashed the game as soon as I selected one of the trainer options.

Hope we get an updated trainer soon.

I was just thinking that I should block updates to keep the trainer working, but now it's too late...

Yep Steam just updated and now the game crashes to the desktop once the trainer is activated.

This is what happens when they package with steam. There were like seven patches I believe released for Modern Warfare, and already there have been like 2 or 3. This is going to be annoying, trainer-wise.

I thought about blocking updates too... the steam patch that worked with update 3 seemed to be the most stable for me but because the game itself is so buggy I am holding out hope that they (the developers) will finally push a patch that will clear up the lagging, glitches, crashes etc. and then we can have a stable game (along with our ALWAYS stable trainers from CH) and I can finally play this game from beginning to end without having to restart it or my machine 10 times. This one game has damaged the COD franchise.

Extra thanks should go to the folks at CheatHappens though for keeping the trainers updated each time a patch is released. At least we can rely on that.

I rarely post but just wanted to take this chance to give my most heartfelt thanks to the development team for their patience and hard work.
