LOL, I was going to the mage tower from dragon's peak and I came across an event of a meteor crater with the guy speaking it's a miracle. That they're gonna raise the child as their own, kinda found it funny.

Yep that was totally a Superman reference. I think there were some other similar references a friend of mine told me about, but I can't remember them atm.

this is where you get something good i remember,, but i cant get this encounter to happen anymore,, happened in one playthrough,, but my current just wont give it to me

The event gives you access to a piece of metal from the asteroid in the crater. Yiou take it to the weaponsmith in Soldiers Peak and he will forge either a longsword or a greatsword. Its stats will actually be alittle higher than a T7 sword.

You have to have Soldiers Peak completed and have talked to the smith for the encounter to happen.

A minor Star Wars reference in Lothering, after the fight with Loghain's men in the pub you can go to the barman and say "Sorry about the mess..."

There are a lot of references to things outside the DAO world in the game including a Mass Effect reference in the dwarven Deep Roads. Look for some clickable rubble at the edge of a broken bridge. It unlocks a codex entry that says something like "The Mass will have an Effect" and "Shepard is an odd name for a dwarf".
