anyone know how to edit steam files to get high inpacket violence yet ?

it's useless to edit the steam files, the next time you get online, steam will detect the edited Files (mening your files are different from steam's) and will run an update. So your game will change back to what you've got before editting your files.

If you turn off the update-function, after the next update of L4D your wont be able to take part in any online games.

Btw. If you got the english version, it is possible to turn on/off violence in the game settings.

not in Australia the oflc denied it 4 times before you get the worst left 4 dead experience zombies disappear instantly once you kill them barley no blood no gore nothing its worthless to but in AUS

and if you have the scandinavian version there is the option also..

But you are an aussie and haven't seen the option, so you propally have the US version.
By mistake you could acctually have bought the Limited UK Edition, and that's Locked at Low Voilence, wich CAN'T get unlocked..
