I have been using CH for a few months now and have nothing but good feedback for this amazing group!

However, I just switched on my pc to play some Dragon Age: Origins and went to start up my trainer (Which I have used lots of times before with no problems) and I got the windows error message of 'dao-*******.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.'

So I thought thats weird, rebooted tried again and still the same problem, I tried starting other CH trainers on my computer and they all gave me the same error message?

Please help!

I am running Windows XP SP2 I have not done added any hardware or downloaded any programs in the time between it last working and no longer working!

Disable your AV, run as Admin, etc. Something on your system is interfering with them, most likely security software after a definition update.

Thanks for the quick response, I tried all you suggested and then discovered the route of the problem! My pc has no onboard sound card, so I use an external one, which plugs in to the usb, this had been pulled out and once it was back in and my pc had audio! Everything is now superb again! Sorry for being a dunse!
