i'm at the part where umm... well, tryin not to spoil anything, the pages? you collected them all and making the map...does that count as a spoiler? lol, anyway, i'm terrible at puzzles and hoping there's some tips i can get?

Use Eagle Vision, it shows blood markings on the pages much like the markings at the end of AC1. Rotate the pages to match up with the others. I found that starting with the outside and working in was the best approach.

Pretty much as is said above ... start from the outside in ... there is a square outline of the map that you can match up ... once you complete the outline there should get some idea of how it should look
But if you are stuck on this one you really are not going to like the Glyph puzzles
