Almost every teen goes through it, acne.. Ive never had it bad just annoying cases... So starting tomorrow im going to be put on Isotretinoin/Accutane. Ive read up on all the side effects because i was puzzled at the lack of information i was told by the doctor on this medication, and now im somewhat disturbed...
Would everything that could happen be worth the risk?
Pretty much everything you put on your face can cause the common side effects...
But I would find out exactly how "rare" the rare side effects are.
On the other hand, it is rare. One of the side effects of one of the medicines I take is sudden death. And I'm still

I probably wouldn't. As Saurabh-whats-the-rest-of-his-name-guy said, everyone goes through it. Its natural. I have had a slight problem since mid-freshman yearish, but nothing to really affect my outlook on myself. But I have never been affected by stuff like that.
Just depends on how much you feel self conscious about it.
Main thing is to wash your face a couple times a day, oil buildup blocks your pores and causes a pimple. There's something called Spectro Gel that I use to wash my face, I don't have acne anymore but this stuff doesn't remove moisture from your face like some soaps do. My doctor told me about it when I asked him what the best way to prevent and treat acne is. The company makes a bunch of other face care products too.
My doctor also gave me a prescription cream for the serious acne, it worked really well, but it wasn't cheap. It was $40 for a tube maybe twice as big as a lip balm stick.
