Is there any way to aim down the sights as apposed to a reticle on the screen-seems so childish in action packed gunplay. If not can there be a edit to allow this or a patch to make this possible? THX..

Don't think so. With the sniper rifles it is the middle mouse button to zoom so if any other guns let you that would be the button but none of the other guns I have tried have done anything with that.

Oh and there is a chance of mods for it though so my post was just about the original version. I know Half-Life 2 had an iron sights mod and based on a google search there is an incomplete mod for the first L4D that is supposed to add them. Until this thread it never realized that Valve seem to have something against Iron Sights
