i just downloaded the trainer that freezes the time of day and gives you credits.

let me know if i'm doing this wrong.

FIRST i opened the trainer and then started up EAW FOC. It froze on the loading screen. i pressed alt-tab to get to the desktop, and it said that it had encountered an error.

SECOND i started the game up and then when it got to the menu i used alt-tab again to get to my desktop, loaded the trainer, and clicked on my game picture on my taskbar. The screen went back (signs that it is loading), showed my cursor, and froze. I did the same steps as #1 when that happened.

THIRD i started the game up to a space skirmish as my favorite team, the corruption. when the game started, i used alt-tab and then opened the trainer. It came back into the game just fine, but when i pressed F1 i didnt get any credits.

Help?

Make sure game is updated, make sure av doesnt block it, and read www.cheathappens.com/trainer_troubleshooting.asp

okay, my game is up to date. Check.

av is not blocking it, neither is firewall. Check.

last question (hopefully ) when should i start the trainer?

i tried starting it during the skirmish and it still didnt work.

I am having the same problems. I am running on a 64 bit windows 7 machine

ok, the trick is to get the patch for the version of the trainer - for example if the trainer is v1.1 then you must get a 1.1 patch for the game, so if the trainer is made for v1.5 then get a v1.5 patch/update for the game. As for when to get into the trainer, thats right.

you are using the 1.1 version right?
if so you need the original version 1.0,
i know the trainer say it is for 1.1 but it works it 1.0

Also you open first the trainer then the game
