i don't think i'm gonna "check" this game before buying so i'm going to ask...is it worth buying?how long is SP capaign...?Is it really hard?

IGN lists it as 5-hours, and an incoherent storytelling mode.

Modern Warfare 2 isn't really focused on the SP campaign. If you're into the multiplayer, get it. If it's just for the campaign, I'd suggest waiting for the price to drop a bit.

i heard that MP sucks too...no dedicated servers etc...true? or bull****?

The multiplayer itself is great. I never liked shooters on the PC so it doesn't affect me, but there are no dedicated servers. Sorry.

9v9 max, no dedicated servers.

All of the other Duty games had a max of 32v32, which itself is not enough people.

Crap.

If you want a great multiplayer experience, check out Arma 2. I was on a mission for two hours and fired exactly three rounds of ammo before I got plastered by friendly artillery fire because someone decided not to pass down proper maps detailing pre-planned arty strikes. Wiped out an entire platoon.

If you're going to get Modern Warfare 2, don't get it on the PC. It's just a direct port of the 360 version with no added features.

I am currently playing the SP campaign and am having loads of fun with it, it's pretty cinematic and what-not. There is also a nice offline MP mode as well as the obvious cult following online game.

It's definitely worth getting either way in my opinion.
