Having the same problem and Im on XP it activates fine then errors out as it trys to load a game and im running 1.1.0.14 Retail version but it seems the mega trainer is written for an older patch then 1.1

I'm not going to say 'USE THE NO-CD FIX' again.

The no cd fix did not do anything for me, still having the same problems. Might try a complete uninstall and reinstall and see if clears up things, just hope my DLC redownloads.

*edit* Ok tired an uninstall and reinstall, trainer still will not activate for me, but I was able to get to play my save game at least. It leaves me to think something is "blocking" the trainer as I do not get the message it cannot find game, it just simply does not do the activate at the main menu.

I found that my antivirus and firewall protection shows the trainer exe file attempting to connect to internet and it shows successfully blocked. Not sure why the trainer would need to connect to the internet to work though on a game that is local to the system. The other odd thing it does not show an ip or address of where it was trying to connect to. I am having the same issue now with two trainers (Torchlight, and DA) I use with steam games but others seem to work ok still. I will try to turn off the antivirus and or firewall for a test to see if that helps. I did find that my software for my firewall and antivirus updated yesterday when this all started too.

Still want to say thanks for the trainers and the work you put in to them.

The trainer connects online to verify it is a legitimate trainer. If you're worried about it, follow the steps to create an offline key.

Thanks for the info not really worried about it, was just curious. However even if I disable the firewall and antivirus the trainer does not activate at the main menu of the game. Not sure what is causing this as this is not the only trainer that I am now having the problem with (torchlight as well for steam). Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have for both games did a complete uninstall and reinstall and that had no effect other than for DA I could then actually play with the save game but no trainer.

Your f-lock key is off or some multimedia keyboard software (or other third party software) is capturing the F-1 key and not allowing trainer to access it.

Thank you PWizard! I went through the processes running in task manager and found the culprit and then remember it has caused this problem before but have not had issues with it for some time now. The file is CLMLSvc.exe for Cyberlink MediaLibrary Service. Just end process for this file and the trainer works fine. I hope this helps some others that were having similar issues.

Thanks again PWizard.
