After refreshing for awhile, I've noticed that the users online count cycles between somewhere in the 1900's to the 2300's. It looks like it's just a script and not an actual number of users that are online.
Sometime around midnight central time, it resets and there are only a handful of people online.

It's 100% real, regardless of what you believe. If you have nothing better to do than refresh our online count and ponder on whether it's real or not, then you my friend need a new hobby.
If you question our numbers, you're welcome to look up our ComScore Media Metrix, Alexa Rank, etc.
