Dragon Age: Origins Message Board  

Well, i did it before as a human noble rogue, but this time i wanted to be a warrior, using a sword+shield, however.. whenever i get to the main hall and fight those foes with Ser Gilmore, he tells me what my father has gone to the secret exit at the pantry, however.. i cannot find a way to get to the pantry, i just opened the door on the other side of the main hall on a rogue, but i cannot open it on my human noble warrior, any help please? D;

I had the same problem, and overall in the origin stories it seems that it's a bad choice to be a warrior, because they can't open ALL the chests that are in there. I know it's only minor loot but still, they miss out.

How did you fix it? because i cannot progress with the story unless i can open that door >_>

I believe Catastroz wants to know how you can exit the castle using the main entrance Ser Gilmore is blocking.

Never mind, i figured it out, i must have missed some other enemies hiding in some rooms, and i meant, the main hall were Ser gilmore is in, after you help him fight, he bars that massive wooden door so noone can get in, and i meant the side door, which is locked until you clear the castle.

Im having this same issue. Just killing everyone let you open the side door eventually ? I've searched everywhere for 30 minutes now and i still cant get to the pantry.
