no kidding, let by gones be by gones, we all make mistakes here and there, Insom i'm sad to see you step down and I hope you stay on the site. PWiz just because you made this one slur against the site istself (which to be rather honest i don't see as very bad I do that kind of thing all the time) doesn't mean you should be resigning by any means.
Mountains and mole hills. It's easy to forget that Pwiz is just as human as the rest of us. I doubt he meant to offend anyone and to be honest, we all know that use of the word "gay" has socially evolved into negative slander, not necessarily gay bashing. I use it all the time.
Fair enough Insom might disagree but, this isn't something to fight with each other about.

I understand perfectly that PW was not intentionally bashing gays, however, it doesn't help that he chose the language that he did. There are far better routes to take than the one he did. My decision to step down was a simple statement on my position on this and how I feel one should run a website. The higher up you are in a hierarchy, the more people are going to read into your words and actions, which means that you must be the model member.
There is no need for this to form a rift in CHUs community. Simply think of it as my way of provoking a bit of change in how we deal with things.

I think perhaps you are taking the CHU community too seriously.
The founders of this site made it so they could make cheats for games, not support and care for chatty members.
Edit: That's what the mods are for.

Well but our community has grown into something more than just games and cheats.

^ exactly, i'm not sure about you guys but i'm sure i'm not the only one who started coming here looking for cheats but i quit using cheats long ago but stayed around because i liked the atmosphere and people. I don't think i've left the discussion boards more than maybe 5 times in the past year or so lol.

Well but our community has grown into something more than just games and cheats.
I am talking exclusively about the founders intentions with this site.
They wanted to make a site for cheats, so they did. As a secondary result of that, this little community appeared so, they made moderators to manage it. They aren't like our kings, they just manage a site for cheats and game stuff.

I have to agree with Insom's view. I saw the first blog urging members to start trouble on GameFaqs' forums and found it to be childish. I understand that members of that website have been pulling their own tricks for a long time, but for someone to maintain that they're the mature party means not to fight back. Statements like this
"They have done horrible, horrible things. This was a harmless prank compared to what they have done in the past."
are what you expect from the people commanding gang or tribal wars, not the division head (business equivalent of a Moderator) of a successful business. If you are to consider this site a business the Founders are the co-CEOs and the Mods the division heads, as in a real business these people are held to a higher standard than the workers (members). Their actions reflect heavily on the business's reputation.
Insom; I respect your move but am sad to see one of the (if not THE best) best moderators step down.
