Arguing with a Democrat friend. He says that Democrats have always championed human freedom.
I asked him who freed the slaves, who wrote the legislation to give women the right to vote, who pumped millions into the civil rights movement, who authored the civil rights amendments, who assured women and minorities equality in the workplace?
Oh, yeah, Republicans.
Who supported slavery to the point of starting a civil war, who started Jim Crowe, who openly sponsored the KKK, who made alcohol illegal, who openly says that they want to control your personal choices, who openly says that they want to control your life?
Oh, yeah, Democrats.

I was craving that earlier and settled for KFC instead..blegh.
Im getting myself two Leopard Geckos this week as pets. They are an amazing creature. Relatively low maintenace for a reptilian pet and they love to be handled and cuddled which they will get plenty of from me....I wanted snakes but they require higher maintenance. You can actually contract salmonella from them, not to mention they eat baby mice...yep leopard geckos are it.
I hope you didn't just call Social Democrats "Liberals".
