Neither can I but it's not uncommon. They actually sell these goggle type things that recognize your sleeping brain waves and it beems a red light into your eyes bright enough for you to notice but not enough to wake you up. So with practice they help you realize your dreaming while asleep so you can control the dreaming process and take it where you wish.
I don't know how that's supposed to work because every time I realize that I'm dreaming, I wake up...

I took what you said and made it shorter.
Sometimes it feels like I've had a dream multiple times. Then I figure out that it was actually the first time I had that dream.
Also, when you have a dream, forget about it, and then think things in the dream actually happened in real life.
They're changing something in the Matrix...
