Winthrop owns a football stadium that they allow the large high schools to use here. But they say the reason they won't get a football team is because for every male sport they must have two additional female sports, it's bull.

Out of curiosity, what's the male/female ratio at Winthrop? 1/2?

Do they play college rugby in the states? I play it now-ish and my team's undefeated this season. I wanna go play in america with a sports scholarship or something a few friends and friends of friends have done it with football.

Rubgy is not an NCAA sport--all college rugby teams are club sports--but USA Rugby organizes championships and whatnot. My school's rugby club did pretty good in D3 play. 6-3 record this fall. Although they were only 3-2 in league play.
