Totally worth it, even more worth it if you import ME1 char to ME2, and then when ME3 comes out do the same, they say it will have a huge impact greater than it did in the 2nd one

From what I gather talking to CS guys I used know at my previous jobs, I'm pretty sure both are pretty much mandatory.
