I've never seen Pocahontas, so I can't comment on that.
I was 14 when it came out, well beyond the age when your parents take you to Disney movies.
Edit- I was 13, not 14. Still, well past the age.

You're not the only one. And Dhampy is just being Dhampy. This is like the 100th time he has expressed his dislike towards Avatar. Besides why should you run for your life? What, did the Inquisition get reinstalled and now everyone that disagrees with the mass gets burned? I state now that I liked Avatar so much that I watched it twice, not for any cunning plot or whatnot, just simply because I care to like it.
