i just tested the trainer on it and all four characters responded to the keystrokes.
I will admit that the little '+' did not appear right away beside the portrait. but you can press 'C' to enter the character screen and then press the Level Up button on the lower right of the screen to enter and then use your points.
Again, if you press the button and the little + does not show, press 'C' and then Level Up button and you will see the points have been added.

Nothing is working for me besides health, mana and gold. I push 5,6,7 hear activated nothing. When I check "C" the level up is blocked out, and when I try to add exp with 4 nothing happens either...
.rar your save game and send it to me. the last 3 people who did this, my trainer worked fine with thier save game. i can test yours as well. however, i doubt i will be able to replicate your problem. i am not going to be testing 15 people s save games when i can see that the trainer is working correctly.
please make sure you are selecting the correct character. I used the mouse to select the character. Don't know if it works with the function keys.
with character selected, i pressed option for increased ability points. i then pressed "C" to enter the character screen and there is a long horizontal button to the bottom right of the character screen that says Level Up. Pressing it allows me to use the ability point, etc.
If you levelled up your character using the trainer you might have to press XP quite a bit to get to the point where the XP meter catches up to your level and starts showing the XP in the meter-
