@Deep_sea_diver are you familiar with programs like artmoney or CoSMOS ?

@Suralus make a shortcut of daorigins.exe and add -enabledeveloperconsole to it, OR use the run command and browse to your daorigins.exe then add the -enabledeveloperconsole command to it.

    Yeah, just get artmoney.
You have to keep the game open when you run it, then attach it to the game process and search for your attribute points ( the exact number that's shown in game ), set the search type to float.
After the search is complete, go in the game and spend a few points, then go back to artmoney program and use the filter button and put the new attributes value there.

Just do this a few times until you are left with 1-2 values, and then you can change them

i hope you people aren't hopelessly screwing up your games. also, steam users might be messing up the internal file checks of the steam server that checks for updates, etc.

btw, we completed the steam trainer. it will be posted shortly-

    best,
    Cal

Since there are no trainer options to change some of the variables possible to change via the in-game console at this time it's most likely not hopelessly.

Although it's a shame the console isn't UI visible - anyone knows if it's possible to change the console's physical appearance?

Go the the folder where you installed the game, then enter the bin_ship folder. There you will find Daorigins.exe, make a shortcut of that on the desktop.

Go to the desktop and right click the shortcut and select properties. Edit the line that says "Target" to look like this: \path where you installed game\daorigins.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole
