Changing these has any effect?
I think that file (and accompanying images) are to be used for the bioware social site... your online profile...
might be wrong though... I base my guess on the fact the only chars I have those files are the ones I actually uploaded on the internet...
Are there any item codes yet? I imagine with the toolset out now, we can find item IDs easily enough...
EDIT: Okay, I've installed the toolset and can successfully open designeritems.erf. However, I can't seem to get runscript createitem to do anything with those item names.
you actually use -enabledeveloperconsole. Add this to the properties/launch options for STEAM users and to the end of the shortcut under properties/shortcut for non-steam users. Then during the game, press ~ to activate the console. Most of you are probably accessing it and don't realize it. When you press ~, nothing appears until you start typing something. Then a bunch of characters will appear at the top of the screen. You have to type out the command, you can't copy and paste. You also won't be able to see what you are typing.
