I used to get problems using the trainer on other chars than my first one (using the Steam version of the game, but with a no-cd .exe so I could use the regular trainer before the Steam one came out).
It seems that activating the trainer with F1 before you actually have loaded/started a character will more often than not cause the trainer to not work, at least that was the case with the previous non-steam trainer. Now I always wait with activating the trainer until I can control my character in-game, and it works 100% of the time. Whether that is due to the new trainer or the waiting I don't know
Also, as was mentioned earlier, if I load a different char I restart the game and trainer just in case, and it works for me.
I first tried the Retail and the Steam/D2D types of the trainer and tried running both the 1.1 and the 1.0 trainers. However, whenever the game recognises an input made by the trainer Windows 7 tells me Dragon Age has stopped functioning and needs to be shut down. Is there anything I can do to make this nasty problem go away? I've checked the Trainer Troubleshooting Guide, but that gave me no option I hadn't already tried.
The reason I tried both Retail and Steam/D2D is because I downloaded it directly from the EA website, I also have both expansions installed, could that cause any troubles?
I'm currently using a no/cd. (fixed exe) I resorted to using it after I tried running the trainer with the original .exe yet it still remains the same. As soon as I activate the trainer and use one of it's function the game freezes up and gets shut down.
Hey guys, I'm getting this crazy bug where enemy stuns me and i am permanently stunned, it saids stunned for 3 secounds but i cannot get unstunned. Any one know anything about that?

Actually yeah, I had that happen to me when I was battling Vaughn during the City Elf origin story and I'm not sure why. Only way I was able to fix it was to restart the game and trainer an go back to before the spell was cast. After that I played for several hours using all the options regularly and haven't run into the issue again.
First I would like to say that THIS IS AWESOME! I have run into a few problems that I did not see on any previous posts. I have the retail version and the mega trainer, I am not using auto leveling and when I leveled up to 7, I have a point for specialization, however I am unable to select any specializations. I then decided to level back down and just level up normally, however when I do so, EXP is not removed and I did not see a way to remove EXP. I have to level back up to level 7 again adding attribute points, spells exc. again. Has anyone else experienced this before and how can i correct it?
