Almost half the people I Know should be dead apparently. Are you sure this isn't representing the world as a whole that would make more sense.
Look at the numbers again.
25 before age 1.
But then only eight more by age 10 and only eleven between ages 10 and 20.
If you go back and track EVERYONE who ever shared classes with--not just those you know who were in the same school as you throughout your schooling but also those who came and went--you will find that a similar number are now dead.
You also must consider that a child so sick as to die before age 10 is likely not in school.
