well this is how you activate it ...
go to your installed directory \Borderlands\WillowGame\Config
and open DefaultInput with notepad , press CTRL+F and enter
change it to
Change 'None' to 'tilde', save the changes and start the game.When in game press ~ and the console drops .
some commands i found while searching the ini files
UnlockAllFastTravelStations = Activates all Fast Travel stations
expfunc givepoints 1000 = Immediately award player 1000 experience points
dbm_toggleghost = Toggle ghost mode
DemiGod = Toggle demigod mode
resetcooldown = Resets the cooldown for the player's action skill
notarget = Toggle creatures ability to target you
Hope someone found a way to activate them , i know there is already a thread about this but its for UNLIMITED users .
Yeah i had the console found out yesterday but never could find any commands but demigod, please if you can try to find like all weapons and ammo commands. I also heard i do not know if its true i doubt that it is but read on a forum that there was a way through console to give your player all the classes of the other main characters. Again doubt that its true but might look into it if you feel up to killing some time.
something that will spawn weapons?
I really want the Aliens weapons.
So I expanded upon it by testing other commands and got godmode and notarget to work with these.
I guess all commands could work this way.
(Don't know that many, some debug ones listed in the INI and perhaps the usual UE3 codes.)
its frustrating to have only few strong weapons...
Considering, for the most part anyway, that all weapons are RANDOMLY generated, do you realize how LONG the code would have to be to create a 'strong' weapon to your liking?
Just play the game like the rest of us and hope you get good drops. Welcome to the world of RNG.
Uh, no, welcome to the world of "wait for a savegame editor"
RNG may be good and all, and it definitely made Diablo and the like very popular, but I'd rather just have a single blaster in my hand which I can use to melt faces... literally.
ANYWAY, thanks for the info about the console, there's bound to be something that works from it.
