hey how do i beat the big black thing in the BEGINING of the game???? not the one in the tutoriol thing, the one on the island, when the storm comes n i go see Riku. i cant figure it out! i keep hitting his hand with the keyblade, but hes not dieing...I AM!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! :

Well...that's all you can do. It takes a long time since you aren't strong yet. Keep hitting his hand, and if you can, his head. But that's all you can do. It'll take a while, just be patient, that's all.

Just keep hacking away at him and avoid his attacks use potoions if you have to

he was ez! just wait for him to stick his hand into the ground and then attack like crazy.

no!!! when his hand is in the ground you can climb it and attack his head

thats got be a waste of time, just attack his hand, avoid his attacks and use potions.
