There goes my no.1 reason for not renewing tbh,
steam is a fantastic system which gives games away for bargain prices, so it makes sense more and more users will be getting games via steam or others like steam. If CH can't support the majority of games il be buying, then its a big fat shame and waste of $$

In case you haven't noticed we *DO* support Steam on many games, but we can't do it on every game they decide to put on sale one week, especially games that are 2+ years old. If you don't want to renew, then fine, it's not going to change the support we give this or any other game.

FYI -- From another post on the same subject --
I think you'll find that CH is pretty much the ONLY place that actively supports these digital download versions and has been for years. Apparently you don't understand what it takes to support these multiple versions or you would know why we simply can't do it for every single game that is released. First of all, it means us spending over $150 to purchase each game. That's 3X the amount we typically spend. So, you might as well figure that we'd have to hike membership prices by 3X. So, yearly would be $99.95 and Lifetime would be $199.95.
Next, since these games weren't designed to have multiple versions installed at the same time, we have to completely uninstall before we can install a separate version. When dealing with Steam, you can't simply uninstall, you have to delete everything which means re-downloading 15+ GB each time you have to reinstall the game.
So, after we create each trainer, any time someone reports a problem, we have to uninstall and reinstall 3X to fix the problem. Same thing with game updates. When some games (ie: L4D, MW2, etc) update over 20 times in their lifetime, you can see how this becomes overly cumbersome.
Now, this isn't even taking into account that we have to completely re-search, re-test and re-play all of these games separately in order to move the trainer options over. Now we've spent over 3X the normal amount of time on these trainers which means several games will not get ANY trainer because we don't have the time to get to them all. Perhaps one of these skipped games will be YOUR favorite game?
I know that many of you think that creating a D2D or Steam version of a certain trainer is as simple as flicking a switch, but it's not. We do our best to support multiple versions on the bigger titles and we will continue to do so.
