A gun requires continuous amounts of ammo. A sword goes a lifetime without anything else needed.
*concentrates and turns mod sword into the warp blade*
Warp Blade: A blade made of pure psionic energy that can cut through any substance with ease. Carries a special poison that degrades the stats of an enemy overtime permanently. Attacks made by the warp blade ignore any armor (though barriers and shields can still block damage).

This sword has been with me for many years now. It has adapted and acquired new abilities over time.

While I do have a fondness for blades, I love the splatter of decayed flesh when I blow a zombie's head off. I prefer using my sword on the living or true undead.

That belongs to my terran army =/. Has siege mode if you want to use that.
Siege Mode: Sacrifices mobility for x10 the distance and x4 the attack damage. Also gains the ability to deal splash damage. Has a 5 second transformation delay.
