Is it rely so little armor in this game?, i have only got the hunters armor from Don so far and found a leather helmet in a chest...i also bought a city guard helmet in the harbor town.

But i think it is funny that every one else is running around in better armor but there is no armor to buy, i have no chance against some of the stronger enemy's like if 2 ogres or 1 gorilla "thing" attacks me.

As the way of the Gothic games series,
You get better armour as the game progresses and you do missions for your chosen faction. Armour acquisition is pretty linear in these games and represents advancing in rank rather than just in wealth.

You could always cheat to get certain armours (though there are some you should avoid, like the Titan Lord one).

Well i just advanced in rank with Don, so i got my self a warrior armor

Don't like to cheat, but thanks for the info on how it works.
