Need for Speed: Shift Message Board  

I got problem with hot lap races. The later ones are pretty hard and since the trainer hasn't got the freeze timer option I can't get max stars on them. Tried both quick race and time attack trainer options. With the quick race option the lap never ends. With the time attack option the race is over after the first section but it says that I dint make it in time - so I lose. Am I doing something wrong or there just isn't a lap time freezer option yet?

I've had similar issues with those options.
The pile up for some reasons makes me push the hotkey multiple times before it effects the AI as well as locks up or crashes the game. This is with the first trainer, since I don't care about online play or using my mouse in the menu so the update doesn't apply to me.
I'm running it with an ATI 4600 series HD vid card and a full HD 1080p monitor and still gets very choppy.

Any ideas or changes in the future, admins?
