    This isn't a problem with Chu, but I figured "Who else would I even think of asking?"

    Anywho, I just got the StarCraft battle chest and I am having problems with it at the end of installation. I get the following error messages.

    The file "C:\Program Files\StarCraft.f1c8ba57.temp\Maps.temp" could not be renamed to "C:\Program Files\StarCraft.f1c8ba57.temp\Maps". (ConflictManager::ResolveConflicts/1)
    The folder "C:\Program Files\StarCraft.f1c8ba57.temp\Maps.temp" could not be deleted. (ConflictManager::UncreateObjects)
    The folder "C:\Program Files\StarCraft.f1c8ba57.temp" could not be deleted. (ConflictManager::UncreateObjects)

    I contacted Blizzard, but they wont be getting back to me for a day or two. Any ideas?

    I am running an HP laptop with XP, 3 to 4 years old (Not exactly sure how old, it's a hand-me-down)

    Nothing is working. I am seriously getting annoyed.

    I tried downloading the the game from Blizzard, that didn't work either. I have re-downloaded the game 3 times now. Every time I get the same error messages.

    Does anybody have any other suggestions?

    And I'm not sure how to download with the windows 98 compatibility. Can you explain how to do this, DABhand?

    Edit: Blizzard's Tech Support replied, but they didn't help much. They just gave me step by step on how to uninstall the game, then install it properly.

    In relation to this (I'm not sure if the accounts are linked):

    Register or login, Add your game, register your key, and download the installer from the website. It seems to work better on newer OS's than the disk version.
