I was playing the campaign on Normal last night and was on the mission where you have to find Dare's SOEIV. I had just cleared a courtyard when two Hunters came in, one stayed on the ground but the second one went straight for a ramp that led to an elevated walkway to the building I was set up in. He didn't even stop to shoot me once, just went straight to the one ramp that eventually leads to me. I saw him coming and went out the other side of the building but he followed me even though he couldn't have seen which way I went. I've never seen an enemy do something that smart before, they usually struggle to find a way to you if you're elevated, anyone else experience something like this?
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

Bungie might have upgraded the AI or something. Last time I played that level one of the Hunters followed me into the building...

I played firefight, ran back into the building on crater and found myself double-teamed by a pair of hunters covering both doors.

    So ya, they're smart.

I see what you mean a similar thing happened to me. after you find a marine on a raised walk way, which has the shotgun and grenade down it.
i think i managed to kill and hunter with a brute spikey grenade by placing it on it's head. and could any one prove me right please, i'm not sure if it was a fluke

dunno but i'm guessing hitting a hunter in the neck does more damage. i sniped a hunter in the neck he died instantly shot his pal in the back he didn't die, so thats a maybe.
