What did everyone think about the campaign?

I liked it a LOT. The flashback missions were a step above Halo 3, nonstop action with some of the most powerful weapons in the game. It was like they took a 30 minute mission, and turned it into 15 minutes by taking out every possible slow section. I wish it was longer, everyone would, but I had a lot of fun playing it, the kind of fun I haven't had since Halo 3 first came out. The best part for me was fighting alongside other soldiers, Master Chief might be powerful but he's always alone or fighting with people who die quickly. Fighting with other ODST is awesome, they fight well enough that you can drop back to gain some stamina without having to worry about them dying.

Oh, and if you're just going to complain about money, turn around and leave.
I don't want a big car, particularly. I have no need for acreage, and I don't like the fuel bills. But I don't want a small one because they're all like supermarket own-brand cola: weedy imitations of the real thing - Jeremy Clarkson

The other ODSTs that you fight alongside don't die. Many times in the Campaign I had to take cover and one of them was stuck with a Spike Grenade, and survived, on Legendary.

But I loved the Campaign. It was pure tactics, mixed with a great storyline.

Ya, that's what I meant, in Halo 3 if you drop back the other soldiers die, but the ODSTs in this game don't.

It feels like a well played out action/suspense movie when you look back on it. The cinematic quality of the cutscenes and flashbacks help to achieve this greatly and the overall experience of the open-world setting (thanks largely down to the music) is phenomenal.
