so I broke down and paid the fee for subscription because I cannot get any trainers to work with my patched 1.30 game.

When I download the zip file, all that is inside the file is a .txt there is no trainer. What happened to the trainer?

Your AV is deleting it. Disable before downloading.

I'm obviously missing something. I've turned off my AV program, I've even gone into it and changed all the settings so that it won't do anything even when its on, then I turn it off. I still get the same thing, just a txt file.

I went into my security settings in my browser and turned all of those off. But I still get just the txt file.

Any other suggestions?

The file is correct on our end. Something on your end is deleting the file when you download it. Clear your cache, cookies, disable all AV services, then reboot and re-download the file.

ok, for some reason, I couldn't download it using Firefox, it worked fine using Internet Explorer. Wierd.

Now if I can only get the trainer to work. It opens just fine, I open the game, but hitting any of the 'option keys' doesn't do anything.

I created a new character to test this with and tried the level up toggle first. But nothing happens. (and yes, I went out and bashed stuff after toggling it on). I went into town and toggled gold on, though nothing happened there either.

Now what am I missing?

I patched TQ up to 1.30 and I'm running Windows 7. Any ideas?

Turn your numlock on, use no-cd fix, disable AV, etc
