Majesty 2 Message Board  

**This requires editing a game file, so please make a back-up**


Start in campaign mode choose which ever starting point you want. As soon as the game is started save the game. At this point you can either exit out of the game or hit ESC to pause, then tab over to Windows.

From your desktop go into My Documents the path will be:

\My Documents\majesty2\profiles\0\saves\campaigns\

You will see numbered folders for the saves (Easier with just one save it will =0)

Go into the numbered folder and you will see several .sav files.

You need to open the mission.sav with a text editor.

Click Edit/Find in the text editor and search for the following string:
kingdomtreasure "money"

Following the "money" there will be a number, that is your current gold. You can throw a few zero's in there. I think XX Million is as high as I have gotten it. At some point to many zeros will wipe your cash to zero.

No! it doesn't work. i have tried it in the level The Royal Feat and it won't work

Worked like a charm Starting the last mission with 999999 gold made it possible to actually beat the demonlord

tried to open the file, but when i open it, it shows unreadeble file, if i open with wordpar i see this

Same here any work around?

same goes for me as well, I think it has something to do with the "game protection"/encryption probably.

I tried modding the game too and it won't start the game something about gamedata being edited.
