Well, don't know what is happening. The games don't crash, I go back to the desktop but the game is open in the taskbar (and I click on it and can play again), so far it has happened with Race Driver GRID and Far Cry 2.
Could it be having a background application like Xfire (who has in-game keys) doing this?

I've had the same thing happen with Dawn of War Soulstorm, and Dawn of War Winter Assault. My trainers for Fear, DoW2 are ok though. Maybe it's just the way the trainers are written? For me it only happens on these two older games.
