I heard this a lot times from several gamers saying that Shift is similar to Codemasters Race Driver

im pretty sure you can change the camera but standard is c.o.ckpit.

By the way just got two pics one of GRID and other one of shift
looks to me SHIFT has more graphics & both maxed out.

Grid looks just more soft and uses excessively effects. Which sucks. I like the details on the track in NFS. Cars look good in both of em.

Besides, i doubt its the skills, since i can drive reasonably well with LFS & NFS Shift (using the G25). Which both have a notably more realistic feel of a car than grid will ever have. Cars in grid just throw their backs out randomly, its more like a drunk guy with a fat butt is dancing. Not to mention the sound which makes my lawn mower sound like a huge V12 compared to that crappy noise coming out of my speakers.

The look and feel so far is great in NFS, the effects, the interior, the handling of the cars (which feels realistic, but has its arcadey leftovers to make it easier).

I guess the Grid Fanboys won't ever let anything get over their game even though reviews show clearly that its not GRID who wins this realism-round.

EA did a good job mixing the feel of a real car with arcade fun.

You mean you can't possibly steer, im steering just fine, some cars are hard yes, if you dont have a g25 or g27, its even harder with keyboard, the problem with grid is not the actually steering, but the weight of the cars. They seems like feather weight when driving, so its easy to crash or do 360's.

I do think the grapich in nfs is great, im a total fan of the new ****pit system they have, but comparing the grapichs i would say they are on par with eachother, grid is beautiful with the right computer, dont even get me started with the damage simulator in GRID its unbeatable, the best ive ever seen since destruction derby.

Dont take traction control assist off, brake assist doesnt matter the game doesnt have the best breaks anyways, that people tend to forget, its way faster to drift around the corners than it is to break it takes to long.

Grid is still the closest sim i know and still being awesome unlike live for speed or the other sims.

I totally agree with Sauced..

In my opinion, GRID is the best i have played so far, and to be honest, im very disapointed about NFS shift..

Im kinda happy that i didnt spent money on this game.

And btw, u can change the camera wiew ingame. 4 different wiews.
