Simple steps to get it to work you must run the testingcheatsenabled true in the main menu before loading your saved game, or it will not work. Then go to the screen where the chest and the lifetime points show, hold the left ctrl and then click your mouse pointer inbetween the chest and the numbers, it rewards you with 500 points per click. You have to make sure to hit the area inbetween the chest and the number, closest to chest, to right in the middle, no lower, or higher then the chest. This does work, and it's not really complicated once you get used to it.

yeah this does work great you just have to line up correctly, the hight doesn't seem to matter as long as you stay within the top and bottom of the chest/number box. the hardest bit is finding the sweet spot between the two points but after a short time you should find it easily.
