"Trainer cannot find game"

Have done all troubleshooting, re5dx9 is running. This is for the recent version of RE5 gold on steam.

Ok, I run the trainer as admin.

I assume I'm running the game as admin, as I set both the game exe and launcher to be so. I am unsure if Steam is actually doing it, however, as when I try to manually start the game using the exe, it CTDs.

The trainer finds the game. Each option I engage gives me the "activated" sound.

But they have no effect.

Steam version, just got it in a sale. The trainer appears to be allowed by my antivirus, and I added an exclusion for it just in case.

What should I try next?

Keep Getting: "Trainer Cannot Find Game" Tried all the "Fixes" mentioned in the forums and nothing seems to work :/

Post your game exe that is running when the trainer cannot find it.

hi there . i would like to report that ive followed your requirements to activate the trainer and i still cant make it activate .

ive tried the following . launching the trainer then the game then pressing f1 in the main menu

where it says continue (for my missions) . ive tried launching the trainer then the game

then at the main menu alt tabbing then clicking on the trainer then pressing f1 . ive

disable all my addons for google chrome . i do not posess an anti virus , windows defender

is off . my windows firewall is off both for the private networks aswell as the public ones

. ive tried putting the trainer in the game folder then repeating the steps above in the

first lines of text ive wrote . nothing works :'( i do posess the gold edition and ive tried

the troubbleshooting steps with both the game in native mode (dx 10) and with the following

parametter "-play -dx9" to make it use dx 9 . i have windows 10 home 64bits english . ty in

advance for the help it is indeed greatly apreciated

And did you try running the trainer with admin rights (the game .exe possibly too)?

Good for health, bad for education.

And did you try running the trainer with admin rights (the game .exe possibly too)?

yes sir . was running the trainer with admin rights . for the game exe its a whole other story . cant launch it via the exe or CTD . if ive tried to apply the run as admin option by right clicking and going into the exe properties and then ticking the box labeled "run as admin" ? yes i do have tried . still no luck making it work
