I can load the save just fine, even after i download it, sorry but i don't know how to correct that.
EDIT: I had that once with a diff save file, but I think after I restarted my PC everything was back to normal, idk why but I think that's how i got it working again.
Saves seem to be tied to the offline profile you make for windows live. You need to have the same offline profile name for it to recognize the save correctly.
If you have the original file you downloaded, we can try that one and see if it works.
It IS glitched with a ventilation grapple glitch so only unlimited members will really be able to get past this problem, it is like this because it was a save i was fixing for someone else, upon download of this persons save file it worked absolutely fine for me, so there shouldn't be a problem (other than the glitch)

You guys should REALLY back up your save files instantly after every boss battle or something because I would say about %75 of all the game-breaking glitches I've seen are between boss battles and they are triggered by going through a wrong door or something silly like that, so keep that in mind guys, it's a pearl of wisdom.
Sorry but I don't have one that goes back that specifically, but i will give you a link that might help you, if you had just finished the second fight with scarecrow (end in the belltower) then i have one for that, but other than that i can't help you, sorry.
EDIT: Damn, sorry but apparently the save file contained illegal content?? (I didn't upload it to rapidshare, i just found it on a website where someone else uploaded it) sorry, I'll have a look through my already downloaded save files but i really don't think I have it, but seriously %3 doesn't make up that much of the story, and i'm sure you didn't miss much at that point.
Just to add to everything that was written here (I don't know if anyone wrote this before) but I encountered a slight problem with the trainer , using the "one hit kill" while fighting Ivy or Joker is not working. this option messes (at least in my case) with the auto aim of the quick batrang needed to defeat these bosses (didn't effect killer croc )
Wow, I've just gotten into another fight with scarecrow shortly after your save, and the grapple isn't working when I try to get to the second platform, after the first platform falls. I'm starting to give up on this game... Maybe I'll just have to wait for the full release
