I'm trying to unlock the chicken kicking competition, but I can't cause the ghost is there. He says that if I find the treasure he buried on the western beach and give it to his wife he will go away. The only problem is I can't find the stupid treasure! I know I have to dig for it and I have dug all over the coast on the western beach and cannot find it! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Let's set the start point at his wife (the one who keeps talking about how sad she is that he is gone).

At the place where you find the ghosts wife there should be a dock to the left. Go to the little wedge of sand next to the dock (left) and you should dig there and get 500 gold. Once you give the money to the ghosts wife, the ghost will tell you where he stashed his "reward" in the memorial garden under the statue with the axe.
