Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor Message Board  

ive had many problems with these 3 games before i have gold edition of company of heroes with OF and recently got TOV but im confused with installing it thq says OF then COH then TOV but when i install OF COH gets installed aswell but i have 2 disks no second cd player im just wondering why i need the 1st disk anyway please help

I didn't quite get what you mean. If you want the effect of a second CD-ROM, I recommend using DAEMON Tools to emulate a virtual CD Drive.

First make an Image file of the disk you want, then mount the image with it.

Usually you remove the 1rst one and put in the one it asks, most 2 CD/DVD games work like that, I don't play Company of Heroes so I wouldn't know. (But most likely yeah, having two CDs in to install a game makes no apparent sense to me)

ATTN: No need to install Daemon Tools, unless you explained your issue badly.

sorry i will clear it up i have:
gold edition original company of heroes with opposing fronts expansion 2xDVD

and Tales of valor .iso

i install opposing fronts and it says i already installed the original when i go to install it

which leads me to believe that i have no need for the company of heroes disc except as a backup

i then install tales of valor and am currently patching it

You should install the original Company of Heroes first, then Opposing Fronts, then Tales of Valor.

But then again, I still don't understand what is it you want us/me to say/help you with.

well theres a way of installing them all without a error or something coming up but dont worry i fixed it now thanks anyway
