Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2 Message Board  

I recently uninstalled Dawn of War 2 after loosing my high speed internet with Charter Internet and the game would not work properly for downloads etc., using a dial up connection I used for a short time. I am now with Verizon and since I couldn't remember my old user name and it was being sent to the old email address gbuckner22@charter.net the Steam people couldn't get the info back to me and I couldn't find a way to access my account info to tell them, I had changed internet providers, so I created a new account under the name aa4vf@verizon.net which is my new email address. Now when I try to reinstall the game I am told by Steam that is registered to a different email ad or account and the new registration is invalid since it is a duplicate of my previous account from the first time around.
I tried contacting tech support at Steam or Valve or whatever and I cannot find the info for this and I cannot get any sense whatsoever out of these people. I ask how do I change my registration etc, and start using the new account and I get my on message back in answer to my question. I always said Steam should have kept their hands of Dawn of War since it is an extra nuscance, something I don't need and is apparently ran by a group of people who have the IQs of first graders. I may never be able to reload DOW2 or any of my other games that used the stupid steam loader. Has anyone from Wiz onward got any suggestion on what I can do about this?
I sure can't get anything out of Steam to help me.
