Consoles VS Pc
i have alway been a big fan of consoles and have prefferred them to over Pc gaming
But in 2008 i decided to go Pc Gaming and i am happy i made a wise decision, very wise indeed. I just love the way u can enjoy gamez on pc
In consoles
-no grafix options
-no audio configuration
-no cheats in Ps3,360
-no patches
-FPS are a real pain to play
well the same cant be said abt Pc gaming
Most console gamerz are of the opinion that u need rediculous amounts of money to build a decent gaming Pc
No totally wrong!!
An Nvidia 9800gt or Radeon 4850 has more horsepower than any of the grafix chip in Ps3 or 360
An Intel e5200 dual core paired with 9800gt and with 4Gb's of 800mhz ran can max out almost all games except CRYSIS at 1920*1080
So is this hardware exorbitantly expensive?
Many say u need to change ur grafix card every six months there is no sense in this statements, many friends of mine are still using their old athlons 4200 or Pentium D processors paired with an 8800gt and what they can actually still play any game at 1680*1050
Most console titles are still stuck at 720p and few are true 1080p,
So which platform is better?
OF COURSE PC

Depends on the game for me.

Computers for strategy games, consoles for FPS, the controls are different so some are easier and some are harder.

I prefer consoles overall for gaming, because that's their sole purpose and there's nothing else slowing it down or interfering, it's just way less hassle.

Last year I bought a new computer, and a new game at the same time, the computer (not a cheap one) couldn't handle the high graphics and so forth and so the game runs real slow. I have never had this problem with a console.

So I buy more console games than PC games, and when I buy PC games I buy old old ones that will run fine.

u say FPS for CONSOLES!
what makes u say that?
having played hundreds of games on console i dont think FPS play well on consoles,
consoles are only fit for 3rd Person games

Mouse/keyboard combo is the most awkward thing for an FPS when you need quick reactions. A controller is much more simple.

For competitive FPS play, the consoles don't even have a chance against the PCs. Main reason being a mouse is infinitely more precise than a controller. Yet for all its technical advantage, console FPS competitions are more popular than the PC counterpart, just have a look at MLG's growing community.

Consoles are probably more suited for third-person games, as UNA007 said. They're also miles better for racing games.

What I like most about consoles in the long term is that it's less maintenance. No constantly having to buy new parts just to play the latest games or waiting endlessly for patches to download. And more importantly, no tetchy framerates and unexpected crashes. It's true console games can have iffy framerates, the percentage of those games are very small.

i'm disagree with your Theory .
Don't forget..
on Console :
1)no Rip in games
2)no crash in games
3)no installation setup
4)no changing system (rig) every a year or less
it's only for game without (for example) Don't send error and update windows or windows problems and etc.

by the way more games on consoles have cheats like GTA iv .
now what's your idea...?

well actually people buy PIRATED GAMES and then blame developers for errors
i have bought over a 100 pc titles in the last year and to tell u the truth only found a minor bug in gears of war only
as regards installation GTAIV needs to be installed on consoles too to be played smoothly
there r just 5 or 6 console titles with cheat option
do u say thats a lot of titles
no trainers very poor
