Anybody know if they added more emotion into the protagonist? The only big downer of mass effect was that the main character had no emotion in his dialogue, it was a robot talking.

If only if that were true, it was like "Alright now we get to some action" and then his monotone voice comes on and kills the entire mood.

Why would you want a monotone voice over one that shows emotion. You can convey badassness with great voice acting. I just don't understand lol.

I'd just like to say that you can convey emotion through the usual low voice type growl badass. In Mass Effect it sounds like he's just saying snippets of words like me typing in a windows text to voice program.

He doesn't show weakness, it's just Shepard's character; accept it.

What does weakness have anything to do with voice acting.. This isn't just me.. This is the majority of critics on the game all agree that shepherd's dialogue is sorely lacking. Weakness? He isn't even showing any sort of passive aggressiveness even that takes some considerable amount of acting. It's a computer dialogue, not an emotion.
