i agree with op when i bought this game i wanted my money back i finished the campaign beacuse i wanted to see if it got better all i got was 2 days of the worst w40k game ive ever play noobs on newgrounds could make a better game. and once again another company has let the money get to them.

I thought I wanted this game, but now i don't. The first game has 8 faction this game goes back to 4 though tyranid is new. No base building aspect and the shooting for thirty second to minute to kill is boring.
Starcraft 2 and diablo 2 is what i am waiting for now.
I definitely wouldn't say this game sucks, because it doesn't imo, but it wasn't what I was expecting when I got this game. I was expecting something more like all the other Dawn of War games but with some nice improvements. While it was a good game I hope they don't continue to make them like this, or if they do I hope that they make it into it's own series under the Warhammer name.
I don't think this is the worst game every by any stretch, but the repeatetive maps are a bit boring after a while, the only reason you do them is to increase your score or try to nab some cool wargear.
I don't mind the lack of base building, and the last installment of the first game had lots of species to play, however, if you remember correctly, that was the 4th installment of DOW, not the original.
It's far from being the worst game, but the monotony of the combat really killed it for me. I used the mod cheats and got equipment to make things go faster, unfortunately this is one of those games where the AI stacks up with you, so no matter what the playing field is the same.
You guy's do realize that can be tweaked in later patches? Except for the missions all being the same but I recall the Original DoW missions being like that.
