Regarding the Mega Trainer 1.5, Captain Health, Unlimited Sprint, I....

Greetings,

Just updated Spore GA and downloaded the new trainer for the updated build. When I activate the trainer now, the game slows to a crawl (the game literally waits whenever I click on another location until I deactivate the trainer options I have turned on, then proceeds to move to the selected location. Once I turn the desired trainer options back on, the game crashes completely. Has anyone else noticed this or other strange behavior from Spore GA?

Yes, you're screwed, as am I.. You probably downloaded SGA when we should have bought it and waited to get the disk. There are differences in the versions of the EXE file that keep the trainer from working. I've heard there are a few dozen versions of the downloaded version of the game that keep CH personel from making an effective trainer for them. Just too many versions to keep up with.

For a time the no-cd crack worked for me when 1.4 came around, but now that doesnt work either.

Please note there are TWO different trainers for Spore, one for 1.5 of the regular game and one specifically for GA 1.5. Use the correct one for which game you are playing. Also, the trainers are only designed to work with the retail version, not any digital download versions.

I am on a retail boxed copy of the game, and am completely certain I am using the GA 1.5 trainer.

Edit: I should also note that running the original trainer for the unpatched version of GA on my system works perfectly. Only when I applied the patch to GA and downloaded the updated trainer did the game start crashing.

I checked that, and it was the right one but i'm still having the same problem. it keeps crashing my game, it's a legal version which i bought around a week ago...

before i patched it, i had no problems using the other trainer and after the patch i downloaded the right trainer and it doesn't work.

hope u can fix it...
