I finished playing WH40000 2 and have replayed it a few times with the trainer and the cheats but, when all is said and done I can't say it is one of my favorite War Hammer games. The graphics and story line with the marines always talking about something is my favorite part of the game. It seems to me that you have to shoot an enemy a thousand times, before he ever falls. It really isn't that many times, but I've had my entire squad open up on an enemy and it takes five minutes to kill the guy. How many hit points did they give these things. I sure don't get that many with the marines. One of the publishers or whomsoever once said, he didn't want the game modded too much because you would lose the essance of the game. I sure didn't find anything special about this game I would hate to lose, including the game itself. Playing as a marine is fine but, not for me. I like the Imperial Guard and their enemies, which include the marines, and sisters of battle who are absent along with umpteen others in the new version. Maybe in future versions when they get all of the old enemies back again as in the older versions, and there is a way of modding the hit points, number of men, weapons, etc., and someone like Corsix Studios comes up with another number one mod tool to let you do these things, I'll like the game fine again. But until then, I like the older versions a lot better and will continue to play these instead of DOW 2. This is, of course, only my opinion. So for those of you who like the game or think everything is fine, great. You have a right to your opinion as well as I do and I won't argue or criticize you for this. Unless of course you do me. You know what is said in that age old saying about opinions, "Every body has one. and what I have just written is mine. Sorry if it offends anyone but that is just the way it is. TA TA till next time.

Dawn of War II is indeed a good game, but I too am not feeling it with this game. I agree with the enemy hp, how long it takes to kill a squad, it's ridiculous. I like the old games more, preferably Dark Crusade, as I haven't tried the newer one with the Sisters of battle and that other race I don't know.

trust me, soulstorm expansion was good, S0B and dark eldar - two new play styles due to 'faith' and 'souls' - worth it
