cat any body say what is MTA?
and how can i play gta online or on the LAN?

GTA doesn't come with a online or LAN. It is strictly a single player game, only in GTA IV did they start understanding the importance of a online version despite how **** they made it. Everybody always crashing because of lag problems. Heres hoping that the next GTA has a more stable online.

Anyways there is a mod developed called SA:MP, San Andreas Multi Player which generally allows online game-play with different game styles such as gang wars, mafia hitmen, cops vs robbers (my fav) etc.

If you search on google you should find it easily, however you need to have the first GTA patch to play it. The site however gives you a patch downgrader download near where you download the mod. Make sure you downgrade the game before you install the mod. The downgrade patch sucks for the actual game however, constant crashes, etc. So if you still like to play the actual single player of the game. I recommend copying the San Andreas folder and pasting it as a copy before you downgrade the game.

That way you have two of them. One for single player with version 2.0 and the other for San Andreas Multi Player mod.
