Britain just because I think they have the best all around mix of units.....I would rather have Horse Artillery, Rockets, and Heavy First Rates then a 75LB Cannon that does not shoot canister. Not to mention Britain has the Native American mounted units that can hide on the campaign map. I believe they are the only country that has mounted rifles that can hide on the campaign map. With a lot of people saying Prussia though, I may have to try them as soon as we get another cheat patch, of course!!!
I'm afraid not - let's face it, it's a relatively unknown series - I only got to know it because of a war studies (yes, that's a real course) student I know. The "Sharpe Drinking Game" has cost my liver many, many decades of life expectancy.
I'd like to put a special mention for the United States faction - if only for the Long Rifles. The ability to be invisible whilst walking AND have the range and effectiveness of rifles appeals to me.
I think spain is really cool to play with...my second choice would be france. Britain is good to play with/ but no offense to anyone, i think the developers were biased in putting so much detail in to the britain faction while lefting other factions witouth any special units or stats. EG (Poland,netherlands,sweden)

There is probably some truth in that, the development company is based in Sussex (England).
Although that doesn't work as well as online. lol
