I heard that Sega is supposed to eventually release an update Empire Total War that allows you to play Grand Campaign online. Hopefully they'll release it soon cause it sounds like it could be a lot of fun. So you can team up with a friend who will actually help you (or not...)
Anyway I was just wonderin what you guys think of this.

Would be nice, but I suspect stability will be a killer in a grand campaign online. I regret spending money on this game, it was fine pre-1.3...

yeah I've heard the news from the devs forum that they are currently in Beta stage of it. Hope it comes out soon. And let's hope someone doesn't fall asleep without skipping a turn

I have been tracking and waiting for this game to come out and I do remember in an interview that co-op grand campaign was in the works. They said it was supposed to be out a month or so after the games release. That was then. I really do hope that it makes it out. Hello new lan party game lol.
